FETP-MPH is a two-year degree program affiliated with the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) in Thiruvananthapuram, India. It aims to strengthen Indian health services by training 'in-service' mid-level health managers with a 'learning-by-doing' approach through field-based projects. This program is designed to train the public health workforce that will lead rapid response teams, enabling them to rapidly detect, investigate, and respond to epidemic-prone diseases. Graduates will be equipped to routinely analyze program data, evaluate disease surveillance systems/health programs, and conduct epidemiological studies.
